We value the services we offer and our pricing is neither cheap nor expensive for the very bespoke service that we give. We are a year round, 24/7 business and we walk our dogs wind, rain or shine to your specifications whilst enforcing any training that you wish. We have slowly built ourself a reputable local presence since we established our business back in April 2012 - please take a look at what our clients are saying about us on Facebook and our Testimonials Page. Together we continue to improve our services daily always making sure that our business keeps it’s personal touches whilst continuing to grow.
Our hearts will always be bigger than our business and that’s the way we wish to keep it. The way we see it is, if you are happy and your pets are too then so are we.
Our Pet Visits and Doggy Day Care services are an alternative to Kennels, Catteries and similar businesses as we spend more time with your pets to ensure their happiness in an environment that they are comfortable in and make sure they are fed, have play time, walks, love and attention in parallel to their regular routines. We can give your pets a home away from home or come to providing them with a roof over their head and a family whilst you’re not around.
Communication is an integral part of our business and keeping our clients in-the-know about what their pets have been up to whilst they are in our company seems to us as a natural part of the package. Our clients are encouraged to follow us on Facebook to receive regular updates in our News Feed and be able to message us whenever they feel the need to. At present we also use WhatsApp Messenger (a free picture message/SMS App) which enables us to keep in touch effectively as we are online most of the time via our smart phones. The standard means of getting hold of us are also available; SMS, E-mail and of course Voice Calls. So, our clients can feel assured knowing they are only the touch of a button away from their us and their pets.

Your no obligation Quote will be based upon the following price guides and the details we gather from you. It all begins when you first contact us therefore it is essential that you give us as much information as possible about your specific requirements to enable us to price the service we are going to provide for you. The initial meeting between us, whether it’s at our home or yours, will be free of charge. It is best that we meet both you and your pet/s so that we can become acquainted.
We have a standard Q&A form which we will fill in with you during our first meeting.
If you have never used this type of service before don’t worry, we will sit down and talk through everything together and tailor our services to meet your needs. We have learnt that, initially some clients may think one service suits them whereas another may be better overall financially - with the same needs suited - so we can customise what we do to work more appropriately for you and your pet/s.
To help you gain a better insight into how we customise our Quotes for each client here are some things that we take into consideration when pricing a job;
Any additional costs will be talked through in our first meeting and will be noted in a final mutually agreed, signed, contract as all of these elements are influential on our pricing.
What methods of payment do you accept?
You have the choice of four options which include;
Cash, Direct Debit or Bank Transfer and Cheque.
We are happy to accept which ever is convenient for you - and you may change your method of payment at any time - Cash and Bank Transfer are preferred due to simplicity.
When is payment required for your services?
A 50% deposit for lengthy extended periods of Doggy Day Care and Pet Visits is required although if you choose to you can pay the full amount up front. There is a great amount of responsibility and trust involved in our line of work therefore we prefer our clients to pay the balance in full on their departure. If we should not reach the terms outlined in our written agreement due to unforeseen circumstances, should there happen to be any, we will sit down and decide upon a refund reflecting the work we have done to your satisfaction.
For our Dog Walking Service you can pay for the week in advance, daily with each visit or at the end of the week once the service has been carried out - the choice is yours, we will come to an arrangement in our initial meeting although you can request to change your pattern of payment at any time.
Do you require a deposit?
Do you have Cancellation Fees?
Firstly, there are no cancellation charges to regular day-to-day/weekly changes as we know life can sometimes be unpredictable therefore a deposit isn’t normally required. However, we do ask that we are informed of any changes you make to any set hours of working for you in advance so we can reschedule and rearrange the week ahead, the sooner we know the better. All we ask is that we are told before the start of our working week - which we class as Sunday evening - at the very latest.
Deposits of 20% or £50, whichever is the lesser amount, are only requested to secure the dates for bookings made in advance for: Pet Visits which are to be done over an extended period of time whilst you are away and two or more consecutive Doggy Day Cares.
This deposit is non refundable, the reason being because we will have set the agreed period of time aside for you and any other clients that approach us who want those dates will be turned down. So in all fairness this is our way of protecting ourselves against loss of earnings which has a huge impact on our small business.
You will receive an email or written receipt for any deposit paid.
Our prices are subject to destination and all other details noted. We don’t charge extra for travelling within a 4 mile radius of our business in Redruth. When we meet, any additional costs regarding travelling expenses will be discussed with you and mutually decided upon.
Can you match or better Quotes from other businesses offering the same services as you?
We firmly believe that what we provide in comparison to others is unique and the very best we can do. It is our aim to stand out amongst the rest and be recognised for the love we put into our business. As a couple we are genuine, honest, trustworthy and willing to give you our everything to ensure your pets safety and happiness which we don’t think you can put a price on. We accept that some of our competitors prices may vary but feel we have more to offer which will become evident once you employ us. We have thought long and hard about our pricing which is based on; what we feel it costs to deliver your requirements at a professional level, all of our expenses and time taken into consideration to enable us to make a living from what we do and have compared prices locally and nationally. We are fully aware there will always be both cheaper and more expensive quotes out there than ours.
Will I pay more for your services at Christmas, New Year or on Bank Holidays?
Simply put, yes on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Years Day we do require double time to our usual rates.
Regular or repeat users (our on-going clients and returning customers) are not charged over Bank Holidays. Time and a half rates come into play if:
You make an emergency/last minute booking.
It is your first time using our services.
Any future Bank Holiday bookings you make with us will be priced at our normal rate.
